Onboarding

Onboarding

Set up your account, personalize your blog, and connect your publishing platforms.

Creating Your Account

Sign up for Blogr using any of these methods:

  • GitHub — One-click OAuth. Your GitHub username becomes your default Blogr handle.
  • Google — Sign in with your Google account.
  • Email — Sign up with an email address and password.

After signing in, you'll land on your dashboard where you can start writing immediately.

Setting Up Your Blog

Customize your blog from the Settings page:

  • Username — Choose a unique handle. Your blog will be available at autoblogr.io/@username.
  • Display name — The name shown on your blog and published posts.
  • Bio — A short description that appears on your blog profile.
  • Avatar — Upload a profile image or use your OAuth provider's avatar.

Pro users can also connect a custom domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) from the Domains page.

Connecting Platforms

Navigate to Integrations in your dashboard to connect platforms. Free accounts can connect up to 2 platforms; Pro accounts get all 4.

LinkedIn

Click Connect LinkedIn and authorize Blogr via OAuth. Posts are shared as LinkedIn articles linking back to your blog.

Dev.to

Generate an API key from dev.to/settings/extensions and paste it in Blogr. Posts are published as full articles with a canonical URL pointing to your blog.

WordPress

Enter your WordPress site URL, username, and an Application Password (generated from your WordPress admin panel under Users → Application Passwords).

Hashnode

Create a personal access token from your Hashnode settings and paste it in Blogr. Blogr will automatically detect your publication ID.
